Requires a valid Fundamentals of Instructor Training certification issued within 1 year of course start date, or a current Authorized Instructor certification through the American Red Cross. These are in addition to a valid government issued ID, and must be presented at the first class date. Course Description:
Trains instructor candidates to teach many different basic levle courses, including Lifeguard Training.

Prerequisites: Instructor candidates must be 17 years old as of the course completion date. Candidates must successfully complete the pre-course session:pass the written exam with a score of 80% or higher on each of three (3) sections and demonstrate competency in the pre-course skills and scenarios.
