Brown, Ellis Set to Compete at NCAA Division III Indoor Track Championships

Montclair, NJ (3/11/11) - Senior Will Brown (Gloucester, NJ / Palmyra) and freshman Krystal Elllis (Morristown, NJ / Morristown) are set to begin their quest for a national championship as the two Red Hawks compete in the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships at Capital University in Bexley, Ohio on Friday. 

Brown is seeking his second national championship as he competes in the 55 meter hurdles. Brown will be among the 13 competitors in the event which will be run in three heats. The winners of each heat plus the next five fastest times will advance to Saturday's finals. Brown won the title in 2008 and finished runner-up last year. 

Ellis, the NJAC Co-Rookie of the Year, takes part in the pentathlon, which gets underway on Friday morning. Ellis will battle against field of 15 athletes in five different events - 55 hurdles, shot put, high jump, long jump and 800 meters.
