School Of The Arts Open House, Admissions Workshop, Jan. 29, 2005

Did you know that Montclair State University is a renowned training ground for performers, practitioners and teachers in art and design, communication, broadcasting, theater and dance, and music? Our School of the Arts is a designated "Center of Excellence" by the State of New Jersey. If a major in Music, Theatre, Art and Design, Dance, Communication Studies, or Broadcasting is in your future, you should attend one of our upcoming Arts Days programs.

On Saturday, January 29, 2005, the School of the Arts (SART) will host its annual Open House / Admissions Workshop, in the Memorial Auditorium. The SART Admissions Workshop is for college bound students interested in learning about programs in the School of the Arts. The Workshop will feature an overview presentation of the university with special focus on music, theatre, dance, communication studies, art & design and broadcasting. Students will also learn about career opportunities in the arts and how to prepare for an interview, audition or portfolio review. Campus tours will follow the presentations. The event begins at 12:30 with Registration and refreshments in Memorial Auditorium. The overview will take place at 1:00. Parking is available at the Red Hawk Parking Deck (a 5-minute walk from the auditorium.)
