Bristol-Myers Squibb Executive Vice President Named To MSU Board

John McGoldrick, executive vice president and general counsel of Bristol-Myers Squibb, has been appointed to the Montclair State University Board of Trustees, MSU President Susan A. Cole announced.

"John was instrumental in developing the partnership and securing funding for the wonderful Bristol-Myers Squibb Center for Science Teaching and Learning at Montclair State," said Dr. Susan A. Cole, president of Montclair State University. "The new facility, which will house the University's Professional Resources in Science and Mathematics (PRISM) program, is an example of the dynamic leadership that John McGoldrick embodies. We are thrilled that he is contributing his knowledge and insight as an integral member of our Board of Trustees."

When the Center was announced in Dec. 2003, McGoldrick said that the "partnership with academia and government strives to give our teachers and their students the finest resources in order to enhance our talent pool and ensure that we continue to have the best scientists in the world."
