Debbie Stoller, PhD (psychology, Yale University), moved to New York with one goal: to make better media for women. With two other committed feminists, Debbie created "Bust." Taking it from a Xeroxed-and-stapled zine to its current glossy incarnation, "Bust" helped pioneer girlie feminism, a form of third wave feminism. Stoller and the success of "Bust" prove that young feminists want their humor, style, and sex, in addition to equal pay and political gains. Stoller is co-editor of "The Bust Guide to the New Girl Order" and co-founder of the sassy knitting circle.
