On Saturday July 30th, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions held a training workshop for new and returning volunteers. Sessions included "The Recruitment Top 20: (Almost) Everything you Need to Know", "Recruitment Psychology and Etiquette", and situational training. Twenty-two alumni volunteers participated in the workshop.
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions offers a variety of different opportunities for alumni to spend time with prospective students. The Alumni Recruitment Team works with The Office of Undergraduate Admissions to help identify prospective students and guide them through the college decision process. The group represents the University at outreach events such as college fairs, participates in on-campus recruitment programs, such as Open House and Freshman Discovery Day, serves as regional contacts for prospective students and families, and assists with letter writing campaigns to prospective students
