D'Andrea Named NJAC Football Offensive POTW For Second Straight Week

Montclair, NJ (9/18/11) –  Running back Chris D’Andrea (Union, NJ / Union) earned his second New Jersey Athletic Conference accolade on Sunday as he was named the league's Offensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week.

D’Andrea earns NJAC Offensive Player of the Week honors for the second time after helping the No. 10 Red Hawks earn their first NJAC win of the season - a 20-19 conference road victory at Morrisville State. After entering the game as the Division III national leader in rushing, he averaged 5.9 yards per carry with 164 yards on 28 attempts. D’Andrea, who garnered 62 yards on the ground during MSU’s first touchdown drive before producing a 29-yard run to set up another Red Hawks’ score, currently leads the NJAC in rushing with an average of 201.5 yards per game.
