To launch the new academic year, a number of Opening Day events have been planned for Tuesday, September 6, 2005.

The entire campus community is invited to the following two events:

11:15 a.m.: President’s Address to the University Community in Kasser Theater.

Noon – 1:15 p.m.: President’s Picnic for the University Community in the Kasser Theater Plaza and Amphitheater (Rain Location: Student Center Ballrooms

In addition, the following events have been scheduled:

9:00 a.m.: Meeting of the Division of Student Development and Campus Life, Student Center Ballrooms

9:00 a.m.: Graduate/Certification Advisors Meeting, Student Center 411-414

10:00 a.m.: University Senate Meeting, Student Center 419

Finally, time has been set aside for the following:

1:30 p.m.: College/School Meetings

2:45 p.m.: Department Faculty Meetings
