Fischer was named the NJAC Offensive Player of the Week honors after leading No. 9 Montclair State to a 20-13 NJAC road win at Brockport. He completed 23-of-38 passes for 255 yards, including a pair of touchdown strikes of 49 and 8 yards apiece. With the performance, he moved into second place on MSU’s all-time completion list (494) while eclipsing the 6,500-yard career passing plateau (6,520). The 2010 NJAC Co-Offensive Player of the Year, Fischer currently ranks fourth in the NJAC in passing yards per game (193.5).Barbulescu helped Montclair to a pair of NJAC wins this week scoring twice. She netted what turned out to be the game-winning goal in MSU's 6-1 win at Rutgers-Newark collecting the second goal for the Red Hawks in four-goal first half. She then scored the game-winner in the 68th minute as MSU improved to 3-2 in the NJAC with a 2-0 win over Rutgers-Camden. Barbulescu is currently tied for second on the team in goals scored (3) and tied for third in points scored with eight.
