Professor Part of PBS "Women, War & Peace" Film Series

Montclair State Professor Esperanza Brizuela-Garcia is a panelist in film series to begin airing Thursday, 10/13 on NJTV

As part of the ongoing PBS series Women, War & Peace, New Jersey’s public television station, NJTV, will present a Q&A discussion featuring Mary Alice Williams recorded last month at Montclair State University. Women, War & Peace: A Discussion was produced by the Montclair International Film Festival and included a screening of the award-winning film Pray the Devil Back to Hell, one of five featured films in the PBS series. In addition to Williams, Women, War & Peace: A Discussion included panelists Gini Reticker, producer of Pray the Devil Back to Hell; Abigail E. Disney, the film’s director; and Montclair State’s Esperanza Brizuela-Garcia, professor of African Studies.
