Pitman, N.J. (10/11/11) - The New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) is creating friendly competition between now and Thanksgiving to help those less fortunate by creating "Cans Across the Conference."

Cans Across the Conference is a competition to see which NJAC school can collect the most canned food items.  Each school will donate their food to their local food bank. 

The winning school will be presented a plaque in December to reward their efforts.

So help out those less fortunate by bringing canned food to any remaining home game this season. Below is the schedule for the remainder of the fall season:

Saturday Oct. 22nd- Men's Soccer vs. Richard Stockton, 6:00 pm
Wednesday Oct. 26th- Women's Soccer vs. Ramapo, 3:00 pm
Wednesday Oct. 26th- Field Hockey vs. William Paterson, 7:00 pm
Thursday Oct. 27th- Volleyball vs. Richard Stockton, 7:00 pm
Saturday Nov. 12th- Football vs. Kean, 1:00 pm
