Rogic Named NJAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for Second Time

Montclair, NJ (10/24/11) – Junior goalkeeper Anthony Rogic (Boonton, NJ / Morris Catholic) earned his second New Jersey Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week honor on Monday as the league announced its weekly award winners.

Rogic allowed just one goal in 200 minutes of action with 10 saves as the Red Hawks’ went 1-0-1 on the week. He made two saves in earning a 2-1 victory over Muhlenberg and then stopped eight shots in the Red Hawks scoreless draw with Richard Stockton. The shutout versus Richard Stockton was Rogic's sixth of the year as Montclair State also locked up the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye in the upcoming New Jersey Athletic Conference Tournament.

Rogic is currently second in the NJAC in both goals against average (0.73) and shutouts.
