Gibson earned New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week honors after collecting her 13th and 14th goals of the year as MSU closed out the regular-season with a 6-0 win over Ramapolast Wednesday. She snapped a scoreless tie seven minutes into the second half and added her second goal nine minutes later as Montclair finished the regular-season atr 13-4-1, 6-2 in the NJAC. The Red Hawks are the No. 3 seed in the conference tournament and host William Paterson in the opening round of the tournament. Gibson leads the team in goals (14) and points scored (28) and is ranked fifth in the league in both categories. Her 14 goals this season are the most by an MSU player since Natalia Sisti netted 17 during her rookie campaign of 2006.D’Andrea earned MSU Athlete of the Week honors for the second time this year after leading the Red Hawks to a 38-7 NJAC victory over Western Connecticut. In a driving snowstorm, he averaged 8.2 yards per carry with 231 rushing yards on 28 attempts, including three touchdowns of 4, 1, and 36 yards apiece. Named the NJAC Offensive Player of the Week for a second time in 2011, his 231 rushing yards are the second most in an NJAC game this season in conference, trailing just his own 239-yard effort against Salve Regina. D’Andrea, who eclipsed the 2,000-yard career rushing plateau in the win over the Colonials, currently leads the NJAC in rushing (168.4 ypg), scoring (9.8 ppg) and all-purpose yards (173.5 ypg).
