The College of Education & Human Services and the Office of Research & Sponsored Programs invite faculty and staff interested in submitting proposals to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to a workshop by Dr. Valerie Maholmes. Dr. Maholmes will speak about the steps involved in submitting a successful grant proposal.
Dr. Maholmes is the Director of Social & Affective Development/Child Maltreatment & Violence Program, Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health & Human Development at the National Institutes of Health. A Montclair State alumna, she holds a PhD in educational psychology from Howard University and a six-year degree with advanced study in school psychology, with a concentration in neuropsychological and psychosocial assessments, from Fairfield University.
