CQOR Partners with NJ Maternal/Child Health Consortium and St. Barnabas Medical Health Center

The Center for Quantitative Research Center partners with The Northern NJ Maternal/Child Health Consortium and St. Barnabas Medical Health Center to evaluate a new high tech simulation center.

The Regional Perinatal Simulation Center at Saint Barnabas opened in 2011, the Regional Perinatal Simulation Center at Saint Barnabas provides valuable clinical training and education for physicians, nurses, residents, medical students, and first responders (EMT’s, police, and firefighters) through high tech simulation.  The center simulates experiences that could only previously be obtained on the job with live patients.  CQOR faculty, Dr. Andrew McDougall, and CQOR student, Yuna Maeda, are involved with quantifying the relationship between the simulation center and improved care.
