Montclair State University’s College of Education and Human Services held its Convocation ceremony on Monday, May 14 at the University’s Sprague Field. In attendance were family, friends, and guests of many of the 705 candidates why are to receive baccalaureate degrees from the College.
The Convocation address was delivered by Patrick T. McCarthy, president and chief executive officer of the Annie E. Casey Foundation, who received an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from the University.
President Susan A. Cole, Board of Trustees member Mitchell E. Hersh, and Dean Ada Beth Cutler offered words of welcome and greeting, and the student addresses were delivered by Jennie E. Murphy and Jaclyn M. Beck.
