Assistant Professor, Family and Child Studies

With the rise of adolescent bullying in the news, there is an increased need for research in this area.  Sara Goldstein, Ph.D. has become highly recognized for her research into adolescent bullying and relational aggression.  She regularly offers her perspectives on the consequences of bullying, the parental role in addressing bullying, and the ways bullying has changed in today’s society, including the role social media can play in bullying.

Goldstein is a professor of  Family and Child Studies and has expertise in the area of Developmental Psychology.  She completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan’s Gender and Achievement Research Program.
