WELCOME TO RED HAWK COUNTRY:

A FIRST YEAR STUDENT'S ORIENTATION
EXPERIENCE 2008 - 2009

All first year students are required to participate in Welcome to Red Hawk Country: A First Year Student's Orientation Experience. During this program students participate in a variety of informative and exciting activities; they gather information about life on a college campus, learn about institutional policies and procedures, and explore academic opportunities. In addition, all full-time first year students will meet with a First Year Counselor and register for courses during the summer new student orientation.

If you have been admitted to Montclair State University for the Fall 2008 semester and have paid your deposit, information concerning your Summer New Student Orientation (NSO) experience will be mailed to you in mid-May. Please look out for that information as that time approaches.

All transfer students must attend a Montclair State University Transfer Day. Once the Office of Admissions completes the transfer credit evaluation, students will be notified about attending one of the MSU Transfer Days which are scheduled throughout the summer. If you have any questions about the status of your evaluation, please contact the Office of Admissions at 973-655-7801.
