Public health education and nutrition science are different kinds of health careers. Individuals with jobs in these fields often attempt to affect the health of whole populations, rather than just single individuals, and they frequently focus on prevention, rather than just treatment. This presentation will focus on the majors and minors available in the Department of Health and Nutrition Sciences. Anyone interested in a future career in health, medicine, nursing, nutrition, biology, chemistry or another health- or science-related field can learn more about whether one of our majors might be right for them or how one of our minors might enhance the marketability of their primary science or health degree.
