About Japan Club

Montclair State Univeristy's Japan Club was started in Fall semester 2004 from students in the two Beginning Japanese class sections. However, Japan Club welcomes anyone, who has an interest in Japanese culture and would like to attend or participate in activities that help us learn more about Japan and it's people, language, history, and many other wonders. Japan Club holds events such as anime night, field trips, demonstrations, bake sales, and other ways that may also help us raise money for future events and celebrations.

Japan Club meetings are from 2:30 - 3:30 pm every Wednesday in Dickson Hall, room 172.

Our biggest thanks to Yahui Olenik (Japanese professor) and Reiko Kawahara (assistant) for their instruction, leadership, help, and time.
