MS. TOYIN ADEKOJE
Co-Advisor
Ms. Toyin Adekoje received her Bachelor of Arts
degree in Psychology and Justice Studies from
Montclair State University. Upon graduating, she
continued working and conducting research at the
university. She also served as a Research
Assistant on several projects at Hackensack
University Medical Center’s Cure and Beyond
Program. Ms. Adekoje currently works in the
College of Education and Human Services as the
Program Advisor for the Newark-Montclair Urban
Teacher Residency Program. She is one of the
founding-members of the Multicultural Psychology
Scholars and remains actively involved in the
campus community. Ms. Adekoje is currently
enrolled in a School Psychology
Masters/Certification Program at Montclair State
University.

DR. MILTON A. FUENTES
Advisor
Dr. Milton Fuentes received his
MA in Psychology with a
concentration in Latino Mental
Health from Montclair State
University and his Psy.D in
clinical psychology from the
Graduate School of Applied and
Professional Psychology at
Rutgers University. He completed
a pre-doctoral fellowship in
clinical and community
psychology at Yale University
and directed a one-year
epidemiological study at
Columbia University.
He is currently an
Associate Professor, a licensed
psychologist in New Jersey and
New York as well as the Director
of the Clinical and Community
Studies laboratory in the
Psychology department.
He is one of the founding
members of the Latino
Psychological Association of New
Jersey and President-Elect of
the National Latino
Psychological Association.
Dr. Fuentes' interests
are in the areas of Latino and
multicultural psychology, child
psychology and family
psychology.
He serves as a consultant
to several schools and
community-based programs,
including the Puerto Rican
Family Institute.
