National Science Foundation (NSF)

The National Science Foundation requires electronic submission of proposals. The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs will submit proposals to NSF using either FastLane or Cayuse 424.

If this is your first time submitting to NSF, please complete the NSF Registration Form and email it to Sam Wolverton.

The new version of NSF's Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG) is available for submissions due on or after January 30, 2017. Click here for a list of significant changes.

Effective September 26, 2016, FastLane will now check to ensure that the combined text of the Project Summary text boxes (or uploaded PDF if the Project Summary contains special characters) does not exceed one page prior to submission, rather than the current check of 4,600 characters.
