National Science Foundation (NSF)

The National Science Foundation requires electronic submission of proposals. The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs will submit proposals to NSF using either FastLane or Cayuse 424.

If this is your first time submitting to NSF, please complete the NSF Registration Form and email it to Sam Wolverton.

Effective September 26, 2016, FastLane will now check to ensure that the combined text of the Project Summary text boxes (or uploaded PDF if the Project Summary contains special characters) does not exceed one page prior to submission, rather than the current check of 4,600 characters.

New versions of NSF's Grant Proposals Guide and Award and Administration Guide are available for submissions due on or after January 25, 2016. Click here for a list of significant changes.

ORSP hosted a brown bag session on January 28, 2016 to discuss the changes--click here for details.
