Athletic Training Major

The Athletic Training major at Montclair State University will be a
progressive program which has been designed in a progression that allows
students to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare for a
career in Athletic Training. Below are the athletic training course
requirements and sequence at Montclair State University. Sequenced
courses must be completed with a grade on record before taking subsequent
coursework. Students in the Athletic Training major will complete the following
coursework in addition to the General Education Requirements at MSU.
During each of the clinical education courses students are required to
complete a minimum of 16 hours each week of the semester with the Approved
Clinical Instructor to whom they are assigned. The
General Education Requirements are available in the MSU online catalog.
