Calculate Your Grade Point Average (GPA )

The suspense is over!  No more waiting for your grades to come in the mail to find out your GPA.  If you know the grades you will be receiving or if you want to figure out what grades you will need to meet the cumulative GPA for a specific major, you can figure it out for yourself right now!

To use the GPA Calculator, simply enter the Number of Credits and Letter Grade for each class and click the "Compute" button. You may calculate your semester GPA or your overall GPA. To calculate your overall GPA, enter your cumulative quality points and credits totals, which are available on WESS.

Grades of "P" "WD" "INC" "AU" "NC" "IP" do not figure into your GPA, so only enter the classes that are for graded credit.

This GPA calculator was designed for the grading system of Montclair State University and may not give an accurate GPA of other institutions. Nor should these calculations be considered your official GPA at Montclair State University.
