Transfer Students at Montclair State

Academic advisors in the Center for Academic Advising and Adult Learning evaluate the records of newly-admitted transfer students and help them with their first semester's registration.

After the initial meeting, transfer students with majors receive advising from faculty advisors in their major department.

Transfer students who are undeclared receive their advising from the Center for Academic Advising and Adult Learning until they select a major.
