FERRY NAMED SKYLINE CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Montclair, NJ (4/14/08) – Sophomore defender Patrick Ferry (Clifton, NJ / Clifton) was named the Skyline Conference Player of the Week on Monday. Ferry, who helped MSU to a pair of conference wins last week, becomes the third different Red Hawks to win the award this season.

Ferry spearheaded Montclair State’s defensive effort this past week as the Red Hawks picked up two wins while allowing just nine goals in Skyline Conference play. Ferry also provided some offense as he picked up two assists in Montclair State’s 14-5 road win over Kean. He added two ground balls and caused five turnovers in the Red Hawks’ 17-4 win over Farmingdale State.
