Our Greek Advisor

Hayden's Corner

Fellow Students,

On behalf of the Greek Council, we want to invite you to take a closer look at Greek Life on our campus. Our Greek and Social Fellowship community is a one of a kind and is extremely rich in traditions.

The Greek Council is a board composed of 34 executive Greek and Social Fellowship members representing all 34 of our Greek and Social Fellowship Organizations at Montclair State University. Of the 34 organizations all of them are split into 6 councils which are:

The National Panhellenic Conference, 4 sororities
The Interfraternity Council, 5 fraternities inter/nationally recognized
The National Pan-Hellenic Council, 8 historically African American fraternities and sororities
United Greek and Social Fellowship 9 historically culturally-based fraternities and sororities,
Inter-Sorority Council, 4 of our local sororities
Professional House, 2 of our major based professional co-ed organizations

The purpose of the Greek Council is to promote unity and cooperation amongst the students of our campus, beginning with the leaders -- the Greeks and Social Fellowship members.

The Greek Council is active in promoting leadership by hosting events.
You’ll find us on campus:

Setting up the philanthropy calendar
Planning cross-council programs and philanthropies
Hosting Greek Week
Hosting Greek Awards Night

The Greek Council believes that the existing community here at MSU is strong and can and should only grow stronger. It is our hope that you will join us in this pursuit. We are passionate about our brothers and sisters and passionate about the leadership and service they offer the University and community. Let us know if we can assist you in any way.
