summer Patty Piroh of Broadcasting and Eileen Foti of Art and Design
will travel to Johannesburg, South Africa to document the social
change taking place through programs set up by artist Kim Berman.

welcomes Fulbright Visiting Specialist from Gaza
Montclair State University is among the first
group of U.S. colleges and universities to be awarded a grant to
host a Fulbright Visiting Specialist in a new program designed to
expand understanding and knowledge of Islamic societies and cultures

Students
participate in attorney general's press conference
With
the help of New Jersey-born celebrities and sports figures, state
Attorney General and Chief Election Officer Peter C. Harvey will
inform young voters of changes in the electoral process and encourage
them to vote through a series of public service announcements. On
Wednesday, approximately 20 Montclair State freshmen will participate
in an interactive press conference announcing the attorney general's

All-star
poets at bat at Yogi Museum
In celebration of National Poetry Month and baseball
season, four all-star New Jersey poets will be at bat at the Yogi
Berra Museum for an April 7th inning, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Through the
window of baseball, poets Susanna Rich, Edwin Romond and BJ Ward
will read and discuss poetry on baseball and perhaps other themes

The
Pride comes back to MSU
The New Jersey Pride, the state's first professional
outdoor lacrosse team, announced last week that it will bring the
high-scoring, fast-paced, hard-hitting action of its 2004 Major
League Lacrosse (MLL) home schedule back to campus.

Members of Alpha Phi Omega set up shop to sell
raffles to raise money for the organization. The grand prize was
a large stuffed bear, and the second place winner took home a small
stuffed dog.
