David Benfield, Nashwa George, Jack Samuels and Rich Wolfson were elected to three-year terms (June 1, 2004 - May 30, 2007) in the University Senate At-Large Elections. At-Large senators are elected from the full-time faculty and librarians. A call for nominations for representatives from the professional staff and faculty from Education and Human Services, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Science and Mathematics to the University Senate for an upcoming election is underway. Results from these elections will be announced on or about May 4. Biology and Molecular Biology will hold its annual plant sale on May 13-14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Science Hall foyer. Vegetables that will be on sale include three types of tomatoes, bell and hot peppers, zucchini, butternut squash and broccoli. Annuals include gazania, butterfly flower and zinnia; perennials include blanket flower, centranthus and black-eyed Susan. Funds from the plant sale support the department's greenhouse. The workshops will be held Thursday, Aug. 5, and Thursday, Aug. 19 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in Dickson Hall, Room 178. For more information, call 973-655-7245. The Stokes Forest Music Camp and Festival, in residence at Montclair State's New Jersey School of Conservation, will open its 12th season July 11-August 7. Applications are being accepted for students ages 10-17 interested in pursuing an intense musical schedule with arts and environmental activities. One- through four-week packages are available. Offered are ensembles, including orchestral, chamber, jazz, percussion, and choral groups, and music theory, history, keyboard improvisation, masterclasses and concerts featuring guest artists and faculty. Magic I and Multimedia Magic II, May 24 through June 3. The workshops
will demonstrate various ways technology can integrate with teaching and
