The TALON (Teaching Athletes Leadership Opportunities Now) Club is sponsoring a holiday toy drive. Fans who bring an unwrapped toy for a child age 3-14 to the men's or women's basketball games Dec. 6, 10 and 13 will receive free admission. All toys will be donated to Newark Children's Hospital. For more information, call Tara Rienecker at 973-655-5125. In addition, Campus Recreation is sponsoring its second annual Teddy Bear Drive to benefit the Starlight Children's Foundation. The drive will run through Dec. 12. New and unused bears of all shapes and sizes can be dropped off at any Village apartment building, Bohn, Blanton, Webster, Stone, Russ, Freeman halls, the Student Center information desk, the Student Center Commuter Lounge and the Fitness Center in Panzer Gym. For more information about the Teddy Bear Drive, call Alicea Amburn at 973-655-7883. Sprague Library will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 29, and Tuesday, Dec. 30. The University Bookstore is looking to hire staff through Jan. 30 to help unpack and price textbooks and stock the shelves. Those interested can complete an application at the Bookstore. All Together Different, a diversity training initiative for faculty and staff, will take place Monday, Jan. 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Student Center, fourth floor. The program, sponsored by the Office of Student Leadership Programs, the Office of Diversity and Equity Programs, and the Women's Center, is a multicultural training program designed to promote understanding and increase communication among members of the campus community. catalog are available at all times through the
Library's Web site. The Multimedia Department is now making transparencies
for students. Transparencies cost $1 for black and white and $3 for color,
and will be available three days after the request. Click
here for more information about this service. Film developing is now available at the University Bookstore. Processing, done by Konica, costs $4.99 for any size roll. This price includes either a roll of film or a second set of prints, with each roll developed. Other services available include Premium Processing, Advanced Photo System and Konica PC Picture Show. Basic services include color prints and enlargements, holiday cards and photo posters. Film can be dropped off and picked up during regular Bookstore hours.
