Dining Service administrative offices are
located in the Student Center Cafeteria on the 2nd floor. They can
provide a variety of catering services ranging from picnics to
receptions and in many styles of service (waited, buffet, banquet,
etc.). All food and beverages must be supplied by Food Service. For
functions requiring special exceptions such as Potluck, student
organizations are advised to speak with Student Activities advisors
and then the Scheduling Office. Campus departments and other groups
must advise the Scheduling Office. State and local regulations require
extensive planning.
Dining Services can be reached at (973)
655-4224 (Catering) or (973) 655-7707 (Food Services Office) to
discuss your food arrangements. All food service requests in the
Student Center must be stated on the facility contract and approved
through the Scheduling Office. At the completion of scheduling, you
will have 2 contracts: one with Food Service and (if applicable) one
with the Student Center for the facility.
