I. Welcome:
C. Meneghin called meeting to order at 12:22pm
K. Morillo motion to accept minutes, K. Key second.

II. Committees:
Mentoring: C. Carter, reported that the committee worked on the changes on the survey and will be working with Cindy to determine the mechanics of the distributions of the questionnaire. A Spanish copy will be available.
Education: No report
Recruitment: No report, will be meeting by the end of May.

III. Other

A. Gomez and D. Davis serve as the nomination committee for next year’s executive committee. An email will be sent to the full commission and to send names to the nominating committee and present at the Advanced.

Annual Advance: Scheduled for Tuesday, May 20th, 2008 University Hall Conference Center from 10am – 2pm. Focus will be “what will be doing next year.” Help is requested from SDCL to please work with Barbara on having a representative from the Student Organizations. PCAA affirmative action day will be the other focused.

A discussion was facilitated about creating a button that states: Ask me about Diversity. To identify who we are, serve as a talking point and to create a dialogue about the PCAA Creating brochures, emails, and other handouts were also discussed to serve a similar purpose of outreach.

The meeting was adjourned at 1:30 p.m.
