Dear Supplier:
We appreciate your effort in requesting our Supplier Questionnaire. In order to make your efforts as productive as possible, we would like to share some valuable information with you.
We encourage new suppliers to coordinate their efforts to register with the NJ Commerce & Economic Growth Commission. As a regular course of business the University utilizes small businesses and seek bids from qualified suppliers via the public bid process.
Montclair State University has sought to develop and maintain long-term business relationships with suppliers who consistently furnish quality products and demonstrate superior service. Procurement decisions are based on price, lowest-evaluated cost, quality, and service. While we prefer to keep our first cost as low as possible, we will consider other supplier proposals that will significantly reduce our overall long-term costs. We encourage you to suggest alternatives that might benefit the University when requested.
