Daniel Loewenthal is a film editor, director, and producer.
He is a member of the Director’s Guild of America and a longtime member of the Motion Picture Editor Guild in NYC and Los Angeles.
He has edited over 50 studio and independent features and many long form documentaries, which have been shown in theaters, on broadcast and cable networks and film festivals.
He is an Avid Certified Editing instructor and proficient Adobe Premier user.
He has been teaching film editing since 2007 and has employed MSU students and alumni over the years.
In recent years, Loewenthal has been directing and producing both features and documentaries in addition to his editing work and teaching.
