Profile
How many calories should an individual restrict to lose a desired amount of weight? How often and how much should one exercise to achieve weight loss? How varied is body weight response to exercise versus diet. What, if any, are the potential adverse effects if you gain too much or too little weight during pregnancy? These are a few of the questions my team and I are investigating using mathematical models. The validated models our team has developed are available as calculators on the web. Your computer will need to be java enabled to access the calculators.
