Larry Weiner, APR, Fellow PRSA, was among the 2016 class of the Public Relations Society of America's College of Fellows. A public relations professional with more than 30 years experience, Larry worked with such corporate giants as Pepsi Cola, BMW, Sony, McGraw-Hill, and helped introduce pavingstones into the United States. Weiner joined Montclair State University in 2003. Over the years, Larry has been involved in curriculum development for the Public Relations major, as well as the new Strategic Communication area. As an instructor in the Public Relations program, Larry has brought in internationally known organizations for his students to work with, including the Metropolitan Opera Guild, Motown, Ladies Professional Golf Association, New Jersey Symphony, and most recently the acclaimed a capella singing group Home Free. In 2022, Larry was inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame.

Specialization

Larry's area of expertise in storytelling has driven his public relations strategic planning. This includes the use of story in corporate and product branding, both from a traditional or linear approach as well as an immersive or transmedia perspective.
