5K Run and Fitness Walk: Saturday, September 22, 2007 @ 9:00AM
Location: Normal Avenue and Valley Road, main entrance to Montclair State University
1 Normal Ave, Montclair, NJ
COURSE: Run/Fitness walk starts and ends at Normal Avenue and Valley Road, entrance ofMontclair State University. The 5K Run is a flat, fast and rolling course. Police traffic controlled. EMS on site. Montclair State University Police present at awardsceremony. This event is sanctioned by the USA Track & Field (USATF).
WHO BENEFITS: All proceeds will help fund summer scholarships and other recreational activi-ties for under-served at risk youth. These scholarships will help Project COPE provide pro-socialactivities to help minimize risk taking behaviors such as substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, youth vio-lence and gang involvement.
