MS. BAIRD received a master’s in library and information science, a master’s in German, and a bachelor’s in French and German.  She joins MSU from Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario, where she taught information literacy and research skills to students in health, education, social services and public protection disciplines and provided reference services to students and faculty in all disciplines both in person and virtually.  She also created online resources in different media, including tutorials.  She was the librarian liaison to the Faculty of Applied Health and Community Studies.  At McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, she held the position of Marketing, Communications and Outreach Librarian and was the librarian liaison to the Linguistics & Languages, Cognitive Science, Comparative Literature, and Women’s Studies programs.  Ms. Baird has published and made presentations in the areas of marketing, information literacy instruction, and information technology.
