July 28-August 8 - Review of Position Annoucement by VPAA and requests for changes by VPAA (Tentative)

August 8 - Ad copy forwarded by VPAA to deans and chairs for final review (Tentative)

August 18 - Payment for Fall '08 tuition and fees due in Student Accounts Office  

August 20 - Final Ad forwarded by VPAA to ad agency for publishing. VPAA-final approval of the Recuritment process.

August 26 - Provost give deans given letter indicating departmental external visits and deadlines
(Visiting Committee)

August 27 - Applications submitted simultaneously to chairperson, PDL Committee, and first non-unit supervisor (names of 4 readers also to be submitted to PDL Committee) 
(Personnel Development leaves beginning prior to June 1, 2009)

August 30- Residence Halls open for Freshmen Students. Lunch is the first meal served.

August 31 - Residence Halls open for Returning Students
