September 15, 2008 - Distribution of information and data for preparation of Summer '09 schedule to deans and chairpersons

October 15, 2008 - Deans submit Summer '09 schedule proposals to Summer Sessions Office

December 1, 2008 - Summer Sessions Office completes Summer '09 schedule and it is posted on the MSU Web for Students

May 18, 2009 - Summer Sessions '09, 12-week and Pre-session courses begin (no Friday classes)

May 23- May 31, 2009 - Steam shutdown (tentative)

May 25, 2009 - Memorial Day Holiday, no classes

June 4, 2009 - Summer Sessions '09 Three-week pre-session courses end

June 6, 2009 - Summer Sessions '09 Saturday courses begin

June 11, 2009 - Summer Sessions '09 four-week Pre-session courses end

June 15, 2009 - Summer Sessions '09 Eight-week and First Four-week courses begin (no Friday classes)

June 29, 2009 - Summer Sessions '09 Six-week courses begin (no Friday classes)

July 4, 2009 - Independence Day Holiday, no classes

July 9, 2009 - Summer Sessions '09 First four-week courses end

July 13, 2009 - Summer Sessions '09 Second four-week courses begin (no Friday classes)

August 6, 2009 - Summer Sessions '09 12-week, 8-week, 6-week, and second 4-week courses end

August 10, 2009 - Summer Sessions '09 Post-session courses begin (no Friday classes)

August 15, 2009 - Summer Sessions '09 Saturday courses end

August 27, 2009 - Summer Sessions '09 Post-session courses end
