The University's Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action programs include the implementation and monitoring of procedures to assure compliance with Federal and State civil rights laws that relate to all aspects of hiring and employment; the development of internal employee discrimination and sexual harassment complaint processing; and compliance procedures for contracting with minority and female owned companies. Employees who believe, after careful consideration, that they are being discriminated against or sexually harassed should bring their concerns to the attention of the EO/Affirmative Action Officer. They should be aware that there are strict time limits for filing complaints through internal procedures and with external compliance agencies.
