The EOF Program provides educationally and economically disadvantaged students with the opportunity to attend colleges and professional schools in New Jersey. The goal is to make college possible for the student who has the potential to succeed but lacks the credentials required to be admitted through the normal process. The EOF program recruits, admits, funds, and supports motivated students through graduation.
A wide range of majors are available to EOF students, and they are also offered special services that help them in their college career. These include assistance in applying for financial aid; a required six-week summer precollege experience that aids in the transition and adjustment to college life; tutorial assistance; and continual academic, career, and personal counseling.
