Parking Privileges

Permission to park in surface lots and annual parking privileges in the Red Hawk Deck are conveyed via a parking permit. There is no cost to employees to park in surface lots. A Red Hawk Deck parking permit may be purchased at an annual fee indexed to an employee's gross annual salary. Red Hawk Deck permits are available on a first-come, first-served basis and quantities are limited. Permits must be displayed at all times when vehicles are parked in surface lots. Registered full-time employees may park in Employee Restricted lots at all times; adjuncts and part-time librarians may park in these lots after 4:30 p.m. and on weekends with the proper permit displayed.

Parking is also available in the NJ TRANSIT Parking Garage on Clove Road. Various types of permits for this facility as well as daily parking are available. For more information, please contact their office at (973) 746-4237. This garage is served by MSU Shuttle Buses every ten minutes.

In addition, lots 19 and 32 are employee restricted lots from 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., Mondays-Fridays, at which time they become General lots.

Short-term parking is also available in the Red Hawk Deck or at metered spaces at hourly rates.
