Education :
Dr. De Jesus holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from Rutgers University, where she majored in Psychology and minored in Puerto Rican Studies (1998). She completed a Masters of Arts degree in Organizational Behavior from Alliant International University (2003), and received a Doctorate of Psychology degree from the California School of Professional Psychology (2004).
Relevant Experience :
Prior to joining the CAPS team at MSU, Dr. De Jesus worked as a Crisis Counselor for Psychiatric Emergency Screening Service in Somerville, NJ, and as a Staff Psychologist/ Educational Coordinator of the Campus Alcohol Substance Awareness (CASA) program at Tuttleman Counseling Services at Temple University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Temple University in Philadelphia.

Cross-cultural psychotherapy, culture in the supervisory relationship, alternative approaches to healthcare, substance use/abuse, eating disorders, co-dependence, outreach, and relational, cultural and psychodynamic psychotherapy. |
