 Registration for the Spring 2012 semester and Winter Session 2012 (see WESS System Availability and Registration Chart for additional information).
Nov. 22 - 23

Bills/Statements for the Spring 2012 semester and Winter Session 2012 tuition and fees will be posted to WESS Account Summary. Invoices will not be mailed; students should obtain billing and payment information via WESS or at www.montclair.edu/studentaccounts/payment/.

Dec. 12 Payment for Winter Session 2012 tuition and fees is due. (Payment options can be viewed via WESS or at www.montclair.edu/studentaccounts/payment/.) If you do not pay in full or do not have an approved deferment (Financial Aid, Payment Plan with TMS or Waivers) by the payment deadline as viewed on WESS, you will be subject to de-registration.

Dec. 30 Instructor deadline for submission of Fall 2011 final grades.
Jan. 4

Grades for Fall 2011 semester will be available through WESS
Jan. 9

Payment for the Spring 2012 semester tuition and fees is due. (Payment options can be viewed via WESS or at www.montclair.edu/studentaccounts/payment/.) If you do not pay in full or do not have an approved deferment (Financial Aid, Payment Plan with TMS or Waivers) by the payment deadline as viewed on WESS, you will be subject to de-registration.

Jan. 16

Martin Luther King Holiday (No Classes).
Jan. 17 First Day of Classes.
Jan. 17 - 24 Final Add /Drop Period for Spring 2012 semester courses. (see WESS System Availability and Registration Chart for additional information).
Jan. 24 Drop deadline for 100% refund/adjustment. Final day for students to drop a Spring 2012 semester course(s) resulting in 100% refund/adjustment of tuition. Courses dropped at 100% may be processed either through WESS or by submitting written notice to the Office of the Registrar. (see Schedule of Courses book for withdrawal information including withdrawal dates (select: Withdrawal Procedures, Deadlines & Refund Policy). 50% refund/adjustment will be issued between January 25 - February 20, 2012.
Feb. 3 Pass/Fail and Audit Application deadline (to audit courses) for full term Spring 2012 semester courses.
Feb. 15 Deadline for submission of grade changes for Incompletes received during the Fall 2011 semester.
Feb. 20 Withdrawal deadline 50% refund/adjustment. Final day for students to withdraw from a Spring 2012 semester course(s) resulting in a grade of WD and a 50% refund/adjustment of tuition. Withdrawals may be processed either through WESS or by submitting written notice to the Office of the Registrar. No refund/adjustment issued after this date.

March 1 Deadline for filing an Application for Final Audit for August 2012 degrees and/or certificates - June 1 for January 2013 (For details, log on to www.montclair.edu/Registrar)
March 12 - 18 Spring Recess (No Classes).
March 27 Withdrawal deadline no refund/adjustment. Final day for students to withdraw from a Spring 2012 semester course(s) resulting in a grade of WD and no refund/adjustment of tuition. No course withdrawal permitted after this date.

March 27 Pass/Fail Application rescind deadline for full term Spring 2012 semester courses.
April 6 - 8

Easter Holiday (No Classes).
April 9 Registration for Fall 2012 and Summer Sessions 2012 begins (tentative date).
May 1 Tuesday designated as a Friday. (For Friday day classes only, Tuesday day and evening classes do not meet.)

May 1 Last of Classes (Sunday, April 29, for Friday evening and weekend classes)
May 2 Reading Day
May 3 - 9 Final Examinations for Spring 2012 semester. (see Final Exam Schedule).
May 9 End of semester.
May 14 Instructor deadline for submission of Spring 2012 final grades.
May 15 Grades for the Spring 2012 semester will be available through WESS.
May 18 Commencement
July 2 Deadline for submission of grade changes for Incompletes during the Spring 2012 semester.
