Spring Housing Application Process for New Incoming Freshmen

Is campus housing available for freshmen?

About 60 percent of freshmen live on campus and take advantage of the programming and convenience of residence life. Housing is not guaranteed, so it is important to pay your enrollment fee and housing application fee as soon as possible. The University holds 1000 beds for our incoming freshmen class. You can only apply for housing if you have been accepted to Montclair State University.

A $125 housing application fee, along with all enrollment fees and enrollment confirmation form, included in your admissions letter, must be received and processed for you to then complete the online RMS housing application. New freshmen students will be able to complete their housing preferences in the Residential Management System (RMS) in mid-October.
