Blanton Hall

Blanton

Blanton Hall, the largest of the residence halls, was built in the early 1980's and is designed to promote a comfortable living environment. This five-story building houses nearly 700 residents in suites of adjoining rooms with central air conditioning, connected by a bathroom.

Each residential floor consists of four wings: A, B, C and D. Each wing houses approximately forty-four residents. Four Community Assistants supervise each floor. A Community Assistant lives on each wing. The front desk area is staffed by Desk Assistants.

The University's largest dining facility and The Wellness Center are located on the first floor in the north side of the building. Blanton Hall is home to the Emerging Leaders Learning Community (ELLC) which is open to any entering freshman interested in leadership development. Blanton Hall also houses the living-learning community CSAM, developed in partnership with the College of Science and Mathematics.
