Visiting Student Information

The Office of Extended Learning welcomes students enrolled in other colleges and universities. Visiting Students have the opportunity to supplement their undergraduate and graduate programs by studying at Montclair State University in the Summer, Winter, Fall and/or Spring term. Enrolling as a Visiting Student is a great opportunity to earn credits toward your degree on campus or online during the summer and winter break.

Visiting Undergraduate Student Information Form

Visiting Students must complete and submit this form in order to be eligible to register for classes. By completing the visiting student application, you attest that you are a currently enrolled student and have met the appropriate course prerequisites where applicable. If you are unsure, we can direct you to the appropriate department chair for that course.

• Visiting Graduate/Post-baccalaureate Student Information Form
• Additional Flat Fee: $25 Undergraduate Visiting Student Application fee. The fee is non-refundable once you schedule your course(s).

• Academic Advising: Visiting students should obtain academic advisement at their respective colleges or universities prior to registering for courses at Montclair State University

• Financial Aid: Montclair State University does not process financial aid for Visiting Students. However, the Financial Aid Office will assist students with the completion of forms required by their home institution to process financial aid.
