Student Accounts is responsible for the timely dissemination of accurate information relating to a student's financial account. We interact daily with students, parents, faculty, staff and administrators along with outside agencies either in person, by phone, fax, or email.

1. When is the Payment Due Date for Summer 2013?

A: The payment due date for summer 2013 is May 20,2013. If a class is added after your original account sumary is posted on WESS, payment is due immediately. It is the responsibility of the student to check his/her WESS account online after making changes to their schedule. A bill will not be mailed – you will need to either log onto your WESS account or stop into the Office of Student Accounts for a copy of your bill.

2. Is a Payment Plan available for Summer?

A: MSU offers a Summer Payment Plan, 3 Payment(s) beginning April 01, 2013. This plan requires that the first payment be made upon enrollment along with a $28 enrollment fee. Payments are due on: 04/01, 05/01, 06/01.

The enrollment deadline for Summer 2013 payment plan is May 01, 2013

3. When and how do I receive a refund check?

A: Refunds are issued to a student who has a credit balance on his/her account. Once you see a refund listed on the summary page of your WESS account you should expect the refund within 10 business days. Individuals with direct deposit may see the refund within 5 business days of the refund date on WESS. MSU will issue either an electronic direct deposit to a checking or savings account or generate a paper check. The default method of refunding is a paper check. Refund checks are automatically mailed to the mailing address on file.
