Learning Communities Registration
You will select your Learning Community online. You will be receiving a brochure in early May with more detailed information about the Learning Communities program.
When completing the survey, please be sure to respond with your admitted major so that we can ensure the most accurate Learning Community for you. There will be a place for you to indicate your new major of interest if it differs from your admitted major. We encourage you to complete the survey in one sitting, but if necessary you may start the survey, close it, and come back to it at another time. Once you click “submit” you will no longer be able to make changes to the survey.
We will be placing as many students as possible in Learning Communities prior to their Orientation date. We will make every effort to place you in your top choice, however, placement is not guaranteed. You will have a better chance of receiving a top pick if you respond early.
Failure to respond to this survey does not mean that you will not be placed in a Learning Community. We make every effort to enroll as many students as possible in Learning Communities, so please be sure to fill out the selection survey so we may assign you according to your interests.
You will receive your Learning Community assignment at Orientation. You may have other courses added to your schedule according to your major or placement test results. During Orientation, you will complete your fall semester schedule by adding 1-3 more courses to your Learning Community, if applicable.
